Excellent Stay near Portobello Road
amazing choicescosy bedsfree drinks
The team provided amazing choices for breakfast. Rooms included cosy beds. I skipped room cleaning and got free drinks. The hotel rooms reminded me of Palm Springs, with a fresh scent. I especially liked the Marshall speaker available in my room, benefitting from the soundproofing.
I noticed the ceiling was bare concrete.

The hotel is located in a great area, close to many restaurants, and a short walk brings you to Notting Hill Gate. The hotel provides easy access to other pubs and cafés plus Kensington gardens is also nearby.

My room was very clean, modern, and well maintained. It included a comfortable bed. The rooms are large for the area, with a great shower. Rooms are soundproofed which IS IMPORTANT.

The buffet breakfast offered a good selection. I found the included breakfast pretty good. The options were better than US breakfasts, not as good as some mainland european ones.

mixed experience at a central location
small roombathroom setup
the room was smaller than i anticipated. it felt a bit cramped and lacked proper storage space. the bathroom setup was odd, the sink being right next to the bed. i found this inconvenient, especially when trying to get ready in the morning and not wanting to wake my travel partner.

The location is convenient for tubes, buses, and trains, something I really needed. The breakfast was healthy with excellent choice and good coffee.
The room wasn't great (i really wanted to like it). The shower is in a glass box next to the bed. The sink is in the bedroom rather than the toilet. This means you have to switch the room light on to wash your hands after using the toilet, not great if someone else is in the room.

The location proves quite convenient, close to transportation. The staff seemed friendly and accommodating. My room included modern furnishings and it looked clean upon arrival.
Check-in was somewhat slow due to an IT issue. I noticed a peculiar odor within the room. The pillows provided were not very comfortable. I found them quite cheap.

Charmed by My Stay!

The team provided amazing service, and I found the breakfast choices delicious. The location offered a short walk to the Central Line at Notting Hill. it was close to restaurants. I was upgraded to a spacious room. This allowed me to enjoy a decent city view too.
I did notice bare concrete on my room ceiling. I found that weird. This detracted slightly from an otherwise pleasant stay. I think it needs to be addressed.
